An old ticker, a new week

On May 10, $TROLL β€” the Solana SPL token built on the Trollface meme β€” traded near $0.087 after a 77% day, with a market cap around $87.5 million and $18.3 million in 24-hour volume, according to Yellow. The move held up against majors too: roughly 75.9% versus bitcoin and 75.8% versus ether.

CCN put the follow-through higher still, reporting that TROLL crossed $100 million in market cap, added about 14,000 holders in the week, and drew net stablecoin inflows across Raydium and Jupiter routes, with roughly 632% of gains stacked over 30 days.

Where the money came from

CCN framed it as rotation rather than fresh money: after the hantavirus-token frenzy burned through its news cycle, speculative capital moved into larger, more liquid memecoins with existing communities. TROLL is not a fresh launch β€” it is a 2023-era ticker that woke up.

What it means for degens

Turnover above 20% of market cap in a day is a crowded tape, not a floor. Yellow noted the project's own documentation says the token "carries no intrinsic value" and offers no utility, protocol revenue or governance rights β€” which is at least honest marketing, and also the entire risk statement.
