First to market, second in the flow table
Solana got its spot ETFs out of the gate as early as October 2025, seven products deep. XRP showed up in November. Per Bitcoinist, XRP funds have nonetheless overtaken Solana on total inflows by almost 30%, with five products holding over $984 million and a 15-day streak of positive flows, led by Canary Capital's XRPC at $358.88M.

The distribution matters more than the headline. Solana's aggregate number is not one crowd losing interest β it is one product doing every bit of the bleeding while Bitwise's BSOL keeps accumulating. That is a fund-level story, not a chain-level referendum.
What it means for degens
ETF flows are the clearest proxy we have for whether new, non-crypto-native money is walking toward Solana or away from it. That money never touches a launchpad directly, but it sets the tone for SOL, and SOL is the denominator in every memecoin pair you trade. A chain whose ETF complex is flat while a rival's compounds is a chain where the marginal dollar is going somewhere else β worth knowing before you size up a thin market that needs someone to sell into.
