The launchpad war has a winner this week
Raydium spent 2026 as infrastructure β the place memecoins go to have a real order book. This week it got paid like a growth story. CoinCentral attributes the run to three things stacking: StonkFun moving all of its new launches to LaunchLab, more than fifteen tokenized US equities going live on Solana through Raydium, and the largest single buyback in the protocol's history.
The tokenized equity list reads like someone raided a shopping mall: Boeing, Costco, Reddit, Lululemon and Roblox among them. That is not a memecoin product, but it runs on the same rails, and it drags the same liquidity. Network upgrade activity pushed RAY addresses up by 1,074 and transactions to 3.1 million over the period.

What it means for degens
Two lessons, neither glamorous. First: when a launchpad shifts its flow, the venue receiving that flow is often the cleaner trade than any token launched on it. Second: a buyback funded by an explicit share of protocol fees gives a token a mechanical bid that memecoins structurally lack. $RAY outperformed a falling market because something was actually buying it.
